Now that school is in
full swing, I thought I would
send a quick note home
to say hello and check in.
Just a reminder that I
avidly blog the week’s homework at:
mpotas.blogspot.com
This is a very helpful
tool for students and parents to
keep track of
assignments. This blog also correlates nicely with our on-line grade book
Infinite Campus. I also compute all grades for the week every Thursday. By
4:00pm Thursday, a parent can log on to Infinite Campus and receive the most
up-to-date grade for their child. If you
need a username and password for Infinite Campus, please contact the school or
stop by.
Also, students are
highly encouraged to review their homework with their parents and will receive
extra credit for doing so. Just sign your kiddos homework and they will receive
some bonus points! Please remember we have a consistent homework schedule every
week:
Monday: Spelling
Packet sent home/ and grammar set
Tuesday: Grammar
Set
Wednesday:
Grammar Set
Thursday:
Spelling Packets Due and Quiz
(Current Events are due every other Wednesday for grades
8-11, and a creative writing journal for grade 7 due every Wednesday)
