Sick Work:
You have 2 days to turn in an
assignment after being absent from school
Late/failing assignments:
Assignments are accepted only
within the quarter we are currently working within. Late assignments are docked
2 full letter grades prior to being graded.
Failing assignments will be averaged with the previous score. Students
are encouraged to utilize Fridays to make up any missing, late, incomplete, or
sick work.
I will accept late
assignments; you can retake quizzes, or fix any assignment in the grade book up
until quarter grades are due.
I will not accept any
missing, or “redo” failing assignments one-week prior to quarter and/or
semester grades being due.
All regular assigned work
will continue as scheduled.
Student Activity Absences:
All assignments must be
obtained and completed before school scheduled activities or they will be
considered late
Communication and Grade book
All homework assignments are
posted one to two weeks in advance at:
mpotas.blogspot.com
for the convenience of
students and parents in the case of absences or enrichment purposes
All grades are entered and
current to date every Thursday in Infinite Campus for students and parents’
convenience. Parents, and more so students, are HIGHLY encouraged to manage
their grades through Infinite Campus, for that is how students manage their
progress in college settings.
